Oriental brass ceiling lamps
“Light is not just lighting – it is atmosphere, feeling and expression of your style.”
Cozy, golden light, delicate ornaments and a touch of Marrakesh – an oriental brass ceiling light transforms your home into an atmospheric oasis like something out of the Arabian Nights. When the room is enveloped in the warm shimmer of these handcrafted works of art in the evening, you immediately feel transported to distant worlds: the heart of a Moroccan riad or a cozy outdoor lounge. These unique lamps combine traditional craftsmanship with a fascinating lighting effect - a spectacle that captivates every viewer.
Oriental handicrafts in brass – each lamp is unique
These ceiling lamps are painstakingly handcrafted in the souks of Marrakesh (Morocco) and the workshops of Cairo (Egypt). Experienced artisans carve artistic patterns into the brass, cut delicate metal ornaments and insert colorful glass with the finest precision. Each oriental lamp is therefore unique - no two are exactly alike, which gives their charm and value a very special touch.
Traditionally, oriental ceiling lights are made of solid brass - its golden shine provides the typical warm light color. There are also versions made of copper or forged iron with a silver-colored finish. There are also designs with ceramic elements, colored mosaic glass or frames covered with fine leather. This variety of materials and techniques reflects the rich artistic tradition of the Orient and enables the right piece to suit every taste.
Magical lighting effect: shadow games and colors
Oriental ceiling lamps combine filigree metal design with colorful glass to create a special kind of lighting experience. The openwork ornaments in the brass create magical shadow plays on the ceiling and walls, immersing every room in a sea of patterns. If the lamp has colored glass inserts or a mosaic, colorful points of light dance in the room and create an incomparably warm, almost fairytale atmosphere.
Oriental lamps also offer flexibility when it comes to the light source. Modern pendant lights are electrically operated and allow bright illumination at the push of a button. Traditional lanterns, on the other hand, can often be equipped with candles or tea lights - ideal for creating atmospheric light outdoors such as on a balcony or terrace without a power connection. The difference is noticeable: a light bulb provides an even light, while a candle flame flickers gently and creates a particularly romantic magic.
Oriental flair for every room – from the living room to the garden
Oriental ceiling lamps made of brass can be used in a variety of ways and harmonize with different living styles - from modern boho chic to authentic Moroccan furnishings. In the living room, the hanging lamp becomes a radiant eye-catcher that immediately catches the eye of guests. Combined with matching oriental wall lamps, you can create a harmonious lighting concept in the room. In the bedroom or lounge, the soft, golden light creates a relaxed, romantic atmosphere for dreaming. Oriental ceiling lights also set stylish accents in the hallway, dining room or even the kitchen and welcome residents and visitors with warm light.
Oriental hanging lanterns also create a magical atmosphere outdoors. Whether on the balcony, the terrace or at a garden party - the sparkling light effects of these lanterns enchant any outdoor area. The only important thing is that the lamps are hung out of the weather or are quickly brought out to dry if necessary, as real handicrafts are robust but usually not intended for constant rain.
Whether you want to bathe your living room in warm oriental light or give your terrace a fairytale from the Arabian Nights - you will find the right oriental brass ceiling lamp in our range. Each model has been crafted with attention to detail and is just waiting to enrich your home with oriental flair.
