In 2003 the time had finally come: we, Mohammed Mehdi and Mohamed Moutamassik, were able to receive the first delivery from our home country of Morocco. Friends encouraged us to follow our intention because in Germany we noticed a great longing for the exoticism of oriental splendor and lifestyle. The fascination that emanates from the souks and gardens of Morocco is so strong that hardly anyone can resist it. After a successful start, we gradually expanded our range with beautiful things from Egypt, India and Indonesia. We continue to avoid middlemen - our goods come to Europe exclusively through direct import.

Ours Furniture, Lamps, Ceramics, Woodwork, Textiles and Accessories for house and Garden are truly unique pieces. They are created entirely by hand, in keeping with the tradition that has always existed in the Orient. We attach great importance to the use of high-quality materials and fair pay for craftsmen. Through direct contact with the producers, we can not only guarantee this fairness, but also ensure that our products are made exclusively by adults. We strictly reject child labor.

We care about our planet. That's why we're increasingly focusing on recycling the materials we use - specifically: recycled teak as well as reused glass and plastic. Other products have been awarded certificates such as FLEGT (Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). It goes without saying that we comply with the EUTR (EU Timber Trade Regulation). We also attach great importance to sustainability when it comes to packaging for national and international shipping. For example, we use old cardboard boxes that we shred as filling material.
