Hand painted tile – retro style
The production of hand-painted ceramic tiles is one of the oldest traditions of Moroccan craftsmanship. In small workshops, glazed clay tiles are carefully hand-painted by skilled artisans. During this step, the colors initially appear rather dull - it is only during the second firing process in the kiln that they develop their intense luminosity and permanently bond to the shiny surface of the ceramic.

The combination of green, blue, white and warm orange creates a vibrant play of colors on the light background. The fine black lines that surround each element are typical of traditional Moroccan tiles and give the pattern its clear structure.
